Scenario
A crime has been committed. The police have a signed cheque and a letter from the same crime scene but it seems like the handwriting is different. They have 3 suspects but not enough evidence. They need to know if the letter and the cheque were written by the same person.
How do they tell if the pens used for both of these pieces of evidence are the same?
Rainbow paper

Process:
Step 1: We had to get a cup.
Step 2: We needed to get some colours.
Step 3:We needed to get some water from the teacher.
Step 4: We had to put the colours on the paper and put it in the cup and put some water in the cup and it will change colours.

Chromatography
What is a Chromatography.
Chromatography is a separating method scienist of a police use is separates the material from the pattern.
You can do a Chromatography at home if you like because it is a great thing to do and you will need materials for this. They are a cup so colours and and paper. And then you will need to put some water in the cup so the colours will turn colours when you put the water in. But if you put 3 colours on the papper it want work other ways . So this is what it is chromatography.
