Writting

Inspired Writing 

For writing we have been learning to increase the vocabulary in our writing. Our task was to get a picture and write our sentences using and describing what is happening in the picture. We had to then highlight what changes we made in each sentence.

There was clouds.

The clouds was pretty and it was a nice sun shine it was so so pretty because it has pretty colors.

They reminded me that it was a really hot day and the sun was so bright the sun was behind the clouds.

I rate myself a R3 because it is a really good chose because I work on these writing and I need to work on more to get higher. For me this is a really good one to chose from. I really enjoy writing about this.

Hurumaunu- Renewable Energy

Aim: To make a solar powered oven.

Materials: 

1.  Sellotape 
2.   Tinfoil
3.   Pizza box
4.   black plastic
5.   vivid 
6.   Ruler
7.   stick
8. Newspaper
9. Glad wrap
10. Scissors

Steps:

1. Get a pizza box and cut it out.
2. Put some Tinfoil onto the and open top.
3. Then put the black plastic in the bottom of the pizza box.
4. Then put the glad wrap half up the top.
5. With the vivid you need to put you names on the pizza box so you no your group is that box.
6. You need to get a ruler and ruler you pizza box to make it a right size that you want it to be.
7. Get some newspaper and put some in the pizza box because when you cook your food it will be good to eat.
8. After when you got all that done get a stick and put it up so the box lied can hold the box so it can work and it will be yummy to eat.
9. When you have done that you can put the pizza box buy the window so the sun can make it work and you can eat after when it has been cooked.
10. It was fun makeing these and they were really yummy .

Hey everyone this week we have moved into our amazing new learning class. When I am in my class room I like my class room because it is bigger and It was better then the other class that we were in and they have better TV's everything it is really good and nice that we get these class rooms. 

When I walked into our new buildings I saw. Big class rooms and they were better then our other class rooms. It was really nice that we get to have these class rooms because they are really good class rooms. Our class rooms that we are in they are big and they are not small and it is really nice that our class rooms are big. 

When I walked into our new buildings I thought. These class rooms are really pretty and big when I walked in the class rooms. The walls and the TV's where colour full when I went into our  new class rooms. When I came into our new class rooms I went by our new tv's that we got and there were pretty lights on the side of the TV that went and seen. 

When I walked into our new buildings I felt. excited that we moved into these class rooms. When I felt excited I was so impressed about these class rooms that I went and sore with my class and sh because we are in the same class room together and it really really good we are with sh

9 Drama example

This week Mt and Ts is doing Drama. What we have done this is games, puppets and other things is well because there is so much things that we have done this week and last week. 

I act responsibly even when no one is watching We have equipment to manage today-show respect for the equipment, space and others work;  be clean, and tidy; share with others.

When we are in the class room we do our work then when the bell rings we have to clean the class room because we mite not have that class after Morning tea or lunch.

We have to eat Healthy food because it is good for and I going to see if junk food is good for you or not.

last week we played a couple games the games we played was.

for the two truths and the lie, you have to find a buddy to work with you because you were not allowed to work on your on.

for the detection game we had to make a circle and one person has to go outside and there is one person to find the person that is doing the move mist.

for the game for equality game we had a person had to go out side then the person was doing the action and we had to coupe the person that is doing the Acton.

In C I P today we had to find out things about the All Blacks.
We had to look up on google about what we could find out about them. I didn't know much about them. But I know a little bit about the rugby team now.

This week in our P.E Hurumanu we have been… 

• What game did we play? We played Hokey, beach ball, Foot ball.
• Where) We did it in the new Jim.
• Why or what was the focus? There was people in my team that was a little bit annoyed because they other people in my team didn't pass the ball to them and I got really annoyed that people was doing that.

Our activity was Cross-court games. For this activity I rated my self as a level 3.

To achieve at level … we have to show that we can consistently ...

During the game of hokey I showed that I am working at level 3 by working so hard in my team and working as a team together. These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 3.

While playing the Cross-court games, something that I found challenging was that Tha people was not joining in or group. The reason I found this challenging was because The people in our team let us and when we wanted to win and have fun and have fun at the end of the game. 

However, I managed to overcome this challenge by trying my best and working hard to try and win.

Next week I am aiming to work at level 4 To make sure that I am working that level I am going to work on that we can win and join in the game and work as a team at the end

KidsCan

The Crime

At approximately 7:15 a.m., Friday morning, Mrs. King, the science teacher, thought something was fishy as she walked down the hall and noticed that her door was open. She walked into her classroom and immediately discovered that the small aquarium had been broken and her prized gold fish were gasping in the sink. Beside the broken aquarium were the shattered remains of the pink piggy bank that had been on the shelf above the aquarium. A can of blue paint was spilled on the floor. Footprints of a barefooted burglar led to an open window. Bits of a white powdery substance were found next to the broken, empty, piggy bank. The only other item found was a half-eaten large chunk of chocolate candy.

When the police arrived they immediately began to gather forensic evidence.

Dan the Man Height : 176 cm Alias: The General Dan was wearing a woolen general's uniform with small holes when apprehended in the woods. He claimed to be gnawing on wood for moisture and insects to practice his survival training. His teeth look like a beavers from gnawing. His wife complains that she never has any baking soda due to Dan's compulsion about storing clothes in mothballs. He thinks the baking soda takes away the mothball smell, so he stuffs his pockets with the substance. Also, his wife reports that her giant chocolate kisses continually disappear from the candy cupboard. He blames their dog Patton, an English bull terrier, who patrols the neighborhood. His neighbors report that Dan loves the military. He was very regimented about playing taps on his bugle every day at sunset until an irate neighbor broke his bugle. Peg is a librarian known for hanging horseshoes and four leaf clovers in her library. Employees say she is so superstitious she insisted on carpeting in the library instead of laying tiles so she would not step on the cracks. Her teeth are chipped from knocking the bottles against them. She is always throwing salt over her shoulder for good luck and keeps a salt shaker in her purse. Last year a baseball hit him in the mouth and knocked out his front tooth. This has cramped his eating style of chocolate chunks, candied apples, and corn on the cob. His wife claims that on the morning of the crime Jake was rubbing his hands with cornstarch to keep them dry in preparation for an important baseball game.

Lou Lou Height: 160 cm Alias: Sweet Tooth

Lou Lou is so addicted to sugar that she never leaves home without it. She loves to bake sweet things and has an entire pantry full of sugar bins. She claims to have been baking her famous chocolate chunk cookies the morning of the crime (although not a morsel of cookie or chocolate chunk was left when the police arrived.) Lou Lou rarely wears shoes, which often causes her to slip and break things, especially her collection of ceramic pigs. Evidence:

• Fingerprints: Sticky, 'swirl' fingerprints were lifted from the aquarium and piggy bank. 
• Footprints: The painted footprints were measured and were for 26 cm feet. 
• Teeth: The chunk of chocolate candy was collected for examination. It appeared there were teeth imprints.
• White Powder: The white powdery substance by the piggy bank was carefully placed in a plastic bag and taken to the forensic chemist for identification . It had very small grains and when mixed with Iodine it reacted making the colour brown. It did not have a smell.

Verdict: ( who is the burglar and why) Dane is the bungler because he is has a chipped tooth and that he had and for his foot size is 26 cm. And so for him for his finger print is a swirl because that is what he has of his finger print. For his teeth he has been eating to much sweet because his teeth gets pulled out if he eats to much candy and sweets. And when he eats to much sweets or candy he will get his teeth pulled out so that is why yoiu don't eat to much sweets or candy.
