The Preposition Sentence:

The Preposition Sentence:

 Try starting the sentence with a preposition, a word that gives movement or position. . 

Remember the rule, when you start the sentence with an preposition, you need to put a comma where the movement or position ends. 


Some Prepositions you can use- In, Against, Before, Between, Over, Behind, Within, Under, Below, At, For, Throughout, Near, About


Examples:

In 2013, Hornby High School introduced year 7 and 8 students. 

Behind the bookcase, a hidden door revealed a secret room. 


Before I went to the shop,after there was a homeless person.
Between the road, there was a person standing there.
Behind the door, there was my mum.
Under there, was something under my bed I didn't know what it was.
At Hornby High, there was a new student starting school.
Below the window, was a creepy spider.

Examples: Before there was, a chicken inside my sink.
Example Against the truth what happend.
In 2021 I was in Hornby High School, there was a new student in our class.
