Treaty of Waitangi

Waitangi day is held on February 6 each year.

The first Maori chief to sign treaty was Hone Heke.

The treaty was sign in Waitangi.

Respect

Respect- Hornby high

In the past few weeks since starting 2020 we have been learning about what respect looks like /feels like and sounds like respect to means that I help people if they are hurt or if they are stuck on something and they need help with. We also looked @ how we need to respect

- animals.  Clean there homes, feed them, teach them,don't have them looked up

- environment. Pick up Rubbish, look after other people, look after the car howeys.

- things, don't hurt enyone,give someone a gift,
